HERMEiAS Acquires Cracked.Social, Will Relaunch Events in Bangalore and Delhi

HERMEiAS has acquired Cracked.Social, the founder-and-builder community and hackathon series, and will relaunch it under new ownership with a first phase of events targeting Bangalore and Delhi.

What Cracked.Social is

Cracked.Social was built as a gathering point for founders and builders — the people behind the tools people use every day, in the spirit of teams like Notion or Spotify — alongside hackathons where some of the sharpest developers in the community showcase their work. Since its first event in November 2024, Cracked.Social ran a second event in January 2025 and a third in February 2025, building a small but committed community around builder culture in Delhi.

A co-founder split led to a pause

Cracked.Social was co-founded by Suryansh Nandwani and Parrv Luthra. The two had a falling out over how fast to scale the community: Nandwani pushed for faster growth, while Luthra's ability to commit was limited by his involvement in three other ventures at the time. That disagreement led to a pause in Cracked.Social's event calendar after its third event in February 2025.

Relaunching under HERMEiAS

HERMEiAS is acquiring Cracked.Social to bring it back with dedicated backing and a clearer growth plan. The relaunch will initially target two cities — Bangalore and Delhi — with community meetups and hackathons for founders, builders, and developers. Further city expansion is expected to follow once the Bangalore and Delhi chapters are established.

Updates on event dates, venues, and applications for the relaunched Cracked.Social will be posted here on HERMEiAS News as they're confirmed.
